Negotiating with the ACC, after they already owned the ACC?

Looks like they were driving down the value of the ACC to me.

Just look how they treat SEC basketball. They place as much emphasis on SEC basketball as they do ACC basketball. On any given Saturday, you'll see as many televised SEC BB games as ACC BB games, and the ACC is supposed to be their "prime BB property."

They day they place as much emphasis on ACC football as SEC football, I'll know they treat both conferences equally. Until then, not a chance!
